iGaming Social Media Division launched by GameOn Marketing

GameOn Marketing Limited, the igaming industry’s leading provider of outsourced marketing, PR and VIP hospitality has launched its own Social Media division and appointed Simon Powell as Head of Social Media.

Winner of this year’s eGR “Marketing Partner of the Year”, GameOn Marketing has worked hard to outpace the evolving world of online branding, marketing techniques and PR.

Commenting on the company’s move into social media, Sarah Jones, Director says, “Over the last few years, social media has provided the ideal platform for companies to truly engage their audience through a combination of creative and innovative marketing campaigns. Traditionally, social media has been considered an excellent retention tool however if it’s approached in the right way, it can also be an extremely useful acquisition tool.”

Simon, also Managing Director of Message Makers, has more than five years of online marketing experience and manages social media campaigns on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube on behalf of huge high street giants outside of gaming.

Unsurprisingly Facebook is currently the market leader since it allows brands to engage with “fans” which, if executed correctly, encourages viral growth and reach, grouping users together based on shared, common interests and profiles.

With access to proprietary software, Simon is already assisting gaming companies with the generation of fans – sometimes in excess of 10, 000 per month over a twelve month period, that are already fans of complimentary brands. With the assistance of GameOn Marketing, gaming companies are then tasked with providing interesting and engaging content that will appeal to the growing fan base so that it eventually grows organically.
