ICE Gaming Conference 2013 Press Kits Launched by GameOn Marketing

January 16, 2013 | Sarah Blackburn

For the first time at ICE Totally Gaming 2013 – GameOn Marketing will be offering Online Press Kits to businesses that are promoting their services to the land based and online gaming space, revolutionising the way the gaming industry and media distribute and access their news.

Speaking on behalf of the company, James Robbins, Commercial Manager at GameOn Marketing said, “An Online Press Kit is simply the same as a traditional paper press kit but with the added benefit of everything hosted online. This obviously gives companies the advantage to include multimedia content as well as easily tapping in to social media networks to ensure industry professionals and journalists can access any breaking news quickly.”

Online Press Kits will give clients a variety of advantages, since any file that is uploaded will be distributed to the gaming B2B media via GameOn Marketing’s media database. It will also be distributed via Business Wire which will ensure that each client’s news can be found online and via mobile news sites for phones / tablets.

Also – by simply uploading a press release or brand announcement to an Online Press Kit, GameOn Marketing ensures that gaming journalists are instantly emailed any breaking news, whilst Business Wire provides an online footprint that can be searched and found online. Therefore by grouping together the Online Press Kits, journalists have a ‘one-stop-shop’ as where to access their ICE Totally Gaming news without the need for carrying around paper versions.

Summarising, Robbins continued, “Every Online Press Kit will contain an advisory which is published via Business Wire in addition to each client’s contact details, company logo, stand number and company information. Furthermore, each Online Press Kit will be hosted on a unique URL which is hosted for one year. In other sectors companies have been very successful in converting the unique URL to a QR-code and then printing the code on marketing materials and giveaways.”
