ComTrade Gaming has today announced that it has been issued with an eGaming License by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission, which will provide the company with the flexibility to offer its leading iGaming platform to new and existing customers.

In 2012, ComTrade Gaming registered as a company in Alderney and by doing so was awarded the right to apply for an eGambling license, and subsequently was awarded to the company in March 2013.

ComTrade Gaming went through a number of rigorous approval phases whereby gambling equipment that is required to run and support games was tested by the AGCC. The testing was conducted by SIQ, a professional independent and impartial institution providing complete solutions in the field of product testing, and who are accredited to do so by the AGCC.

Ales Gornjec, Director of Products and Solutions at ComTrade Gaming said “We have been issued with a category two license which means that we are now able to provide customers with our platforms integrated with best of breed content, either through a cloud based service or dedicated customer environments. This represents a huge step for us as a company and this move comes from the desire to expand our leading product offering on a global level and in to new markets.”

Also commenting on the license, Robin Le Prevost, Director of eCommerce Development, Government of Alderney said “ComTrade Gaming has completed a detailed company due diligence process and technology platform review. We feel that both the company and iGaming platform have met and complied with Alderney’s stringent licensing requirements. We are delighted to have them on board as our latest B2B technology provider licensee. They bring a fresh approach to the industry and we have been impressed by the wealth of experience from other sectors such as Banking and Telecoms to the provision of technology solutions to the gaming sector.”
