Glow Digital Media (Glow) was awarded the “Standout Success” award at Monday night’s prestigious “Tech City News Elevator Pitch Awards 2013” event which was hosted at Eight Club Moorgate, London.

The award was given in recognition of Glow’s impressive growth over the last two years, which now has offices in London, New York, Los Angeles and Berlin, and the award was presented in front of more than 100 of the UK tech industry’s most influential players.

Damian Routley, CEO of Glow said, “I’m delighted to receive this award on behalf of Glow. We’ve had an amazing year as we’ve grown from a team of 9 to now 45, working across 4 cities. It’s a great accolade of all the hard work the team has put in and a great boost as we focus on our continued global growth and working hard to build upon our success.”

Founded in 2009, Glow’s unique proprietary platform, Glow Machine, helps huge brand names such as King, Mercedes-Benz, Disney and M&C Saatchi to build, manage, optimise and evaluate their Facebook advertising campaigns on a large scale. Last year, the company became a Facebook strategic Preferred Marketing Developer (sPMD) which is the highest accreditation Facebook gives to marketing developers. This also means that Glow has improved access to Facebook, including its product and engineering teams for development and participation in pre-beta trials of new features.

The timing of this award coincides with Glow’s attendance at this week’s FBStart Show in Moscow, hosted by Facebook and designed to help rapidly growing start-ups and VC backed companies in Russia to accelerate user growth using the Facebook platform.
