Mirrorball slot reaches 1 million ‘Likes’ on Facebook

Innovative provider of social casino games, Plumbee, has today announced that Mirrorball Slots has reached 1 million likes on Facebook.

Treasure Island, Big Bad Wolf and Goldilocks are just some of the games within the Mirrorball Slots portfolio that are engaging more than 1 million monthly active users across all platforms and just last month, Plumbee launched its latest game, Firestorm – the 11th game to be released since Mirrorball Slots launched in March 2012.

To mark the occasion, Plumbee has created an infographic that brings Mirrorball Slots to life with some of the best facts ever published about a social game.  These include:

  • 26 billion spins have been spun which is the equivalent in man hours of the entire population of the state of Tennesse watching the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy back to back
  • 27 million Mirrorballs have been won, enough to hang 380 in every nightclub in the USA
  • 26 billion symbols have been collected; if each symbol was 6cm tall, that is enough symbols that placed end to end, would stretch from the Earth to the moon and back…twice

Commenting on the success of Mirrorball Slots, Raf Keustermans, co Founder and CEO of Plumbee said, “This is a fantastic accomplishment and a milestone that is testament to the creativity and hard work of our 50 strong team at Plumbee.  Mirrorball Slots has only been available on iOS since July this year which has contributed greatly to our success, and mobile downloads are projected to be one of our biggest areas for growth in the next 12 months. This is a very exciting time for Plumbee as we create demand for our games and we look forward to releasing new and engaging content across additional platforms in 2014.”

Plumbee is consistently one of the top 10 grossing social casino apps on Facebook. In the next few months, Plumbee will be adding Android and Amazon to its list of platforms and will be speaking at the Game Design Conference, hosted by Clarion in February 2014.
