The Rational Group has selected Leander Games to provide a casino gaming platform and exciting game content for Full Tilt Poker as that site expands into casino gaming, Leander CEO Steven Matsell announced today.

The companies have already begun the technical integration to leverage Leander’s “LeGa” gaming platform to launch unique games as well as a selection of games from the extensive portfolio of game content available through Leander’s partners. Full Tilt plans to leverage the “LeGa” platform to launch exciting new third-party content from a variety of boutique game developers.

Full Tilt Poker is currently in the test phase of rolling out Blackjack and Roulette on the Full Tilt platform, which currently has more than 21 million registered players.  The Leander platform and selected games are expected to launch on www.fulltiltpoker.com this Spring.

“This is a landmark deal for Leander,” said Matsell.  “We are incredibly proud that Rational Group has recognised Leander as a strategic partner to move forward with on this incredible project.  This partnership will change Leander’s position within the marketplace from “new kid on the block” to a serious contender. We are a small but dedicated team who live and breathe delivering the best games possible and this deal is testament to the quality of our offering. We are excited about the next few months as we work on our biggest venture to date.”

Leander was awarded the contract following a competitive bid process, which included many leaders in the online casino gaming business.

“Leander is the leader in a new generation of gaming platforms,” said Sam Hobcraft, Director of Casino for Rational Group.  “They’re smart, creative, nimble and combine speed-to-market with technical excellence.”
