The highly anticipated Bingoport.co.uk Players’ Choice Awards and Online Bingo Networking Event is just over a week away, with this year’s event being held on Thursday 6th February in the extravagant Salvatore’s Bar at the Playboy Club of London.
The Bingoport.co.uk Players’ Choice Awards are now in their 6th year and are the longest running and most respected players’ choice awards in the online bingo industry. The awards are voted for by genuine online bingo players, including Bingoport’s impartial membership base and the number of votes received to recognise the achievers of 2013 were the most recorded in the awards’ history.
This year’s awards also received unprecedented interest from the nominated bingo sites, with a number of high profile bingo brands proudly promoting their Bingoport Awards nominations on their site and community pages.
In total, 8 awards will be presented this year, including the highly coveted award of Best Overall Bingo Site, which was won last year by Foxy Bingo amid stiff competition from Tombola and Gala Bingo. Other categories include Best New Bingo Site, with popular newcomers, bgo Bingo and Bingo Godz expected to poll well in the voting, while the Best Chat Host Team award will again provide greatly appreciated recognition to the best Chat Host team in the industry.
The Bingo Marketing Departments will also be hoping to receive recognition for their efforts with victory in the Best Online Bingo Promotion category. Nominees this year include Gala Bingo with their incredible “£50,000 Holiday Home” promotion and Jackpot Joy with their truly unique, “Win Your Own Fireworks Display” promotion.
Bingoport have introduced 2 new categories to the 2013 awards, adding Best Bingo Site on a Multi Product Brand, recognising the achievements of those sites who have excelled in multiple gaming products and Best Mobile Bingo Product, testament to the rapid growth of mobile gaming in the online bingo space.
Voting on all 8 award categories has concluded, with the winners remaining a closely guarded secret until they are presented with their dazzling trophies at next Thursday’s event, hosted in conjunction with the iGaming Business London Affiliate Conference.
