Mark Bell and Chris Smart join eMerchantPay

Online payment processing specialist eMerchantPay has strengthened its management team with two senior hires, Mark Bell and Chris Smart.

Bell and Smart are industry veterans and join eMerchantPay as Group Chief Commercial Officer and VP of Gaming and FX Markets respectively.  Bell will be responsible for all commercial elements of the group’s strategy, including sales, marketing and product delivery across the multi-faceted business.  He joins eMerchantPay from Secure Trading where he was Head of Global Gaming Strategy. He has also held senior roles at WorldPay, GB Group and Thomas Cook CFX.

In his new role, Smart will be responsible for increasing eMerchantPay’s profile in the online gambling and FX sectors, growing its share of market among tier one operators.  He will also be tasked with driving innovation and product development internally, and improving the over all customer experience for the firm’s partners.  Before joining eMerchantPay, he was the Senior Business Development Manager for the Gambling vertical at WorldPay, and also held senior roles at PayPoint.net.
