Growth at Glitnor Group drives Malta HQ move to Tigné Point

July 20, 2023 | Sarah Blackburn

Glitnor Group has upscaled its operations by relocating its head office to Tigné Point, the 7,000sqm residential and business hub based in Sliema, Malta.

The move comes off the back of continued growth at Glitnor’s operator brands LuckyCasino and HappyCasino, as well as at B2B retention specialist Swintt.

The transfer coincides with a significant juncture for the company as it ushers in a new era under the leadership of newly appointed CEO Richard Brown, who will join the business from GiG.

Glitnor was based at Sliema’s Villino Zammit since January 2022 but has decided to relocate due to rapid growth over the past year and a half, the company revealed in a press release.

Tigné Point, a 16-floor development described as one of Malta’s most innovative residential projects will now serve as Glitnor Group’s primary operational hub.

“Our transfer to Tigné Point comes at a hugely important moment in the evolution of the group.”

Situated on a coastal peninsula in Sliema, the area offers views of the historic capital of Valletta and the Mediterranean Sea.

Office hours are set to remain flexible, although no further detail on working structure was provided.

Glitnor Group chief people officer Cathryn McGinty said: “We’re very excited to unveil Tigné Point as the new location of Glitnor Group’s head office and think the switch is fully reflective of how far we’ve come as a company over the past few years.

“Our transfer to Tigné Point comes at a hugely important moment in the evolution of the group and should provide the perfect place for us to call home as we continue to expand throughout 2023.

“We’re really looking forward to moving in and hope the team will love the new HQ as much as we do,” she added.

The Tigné Point development also offers leisure activities, retail outlets, cafés and restaurants. All traffic has been routed underground, providing a 30-acre car-free zone at ground level.
