The venture, Continent 8 says, will support the expansion of its business in regions around the world. This includes its roll-out of new regulatory-related solutions such as cloud environments and cybersecurity.
Continent 8 has appointed Jeremie Kanter to lead the new division. An experienced industry professional, Kanter will serve as director of regulatory affairs and oversee C8 Comply.
Kanter joins having held senior management and consulting positions at leading gambling businesses. This includes a spell as chief compliance officer at SBTech and vice-president of regulatory and internal audit at ComplianceOne Group
He also spent time working for William Hill, PokerStars, Playtech and Stations Casino.
