The recently rebranded Winlandia is aiming to take significant inroads into a highly competitive online casino landscape after detailing a launch in the UK.

The former Finlandia rolled-out a revamp earlier in the year amid wider expansion ambitions, with the Nordic nations of Denmark and Norway cited alongside its Finnish base, the UK and recent Swedish launch. Further afield, it’s Canada and New Zealand that fall on the group’s radar.

Alongside its new market entry, Windlandia is promising players generous bonuses, thousands of games and five-star customer support, as well “a playful Nordic twist”.

The launch, Winlandia noted, will be supported by a “comprehensive marketing plan”. This includes an exclusive affiliate partner that is set to be “announced shortly” with more being onboarded in the coming weeks.

“Players in the UK, get ready. Winlandia is here to offer a top-notch experience that is fun, entertaining and distinctly Nordic,” noted Christoffer Grönlund, Head of Acquisitions & PR at Winlandia.

“It is not every day a new casino launches in the UK so for a period of time we will of course have a strong USP as the newest casino in the UK. That is a huge magnet for customer acquisition.”

The SkillOnNet powered brand will hit the market with 5,700 titles covering a variety of offerings slots, table games, live dealer, scratch cards and more, in addition to daily promotions and slots tournaments.

“Players can get started by picking one of two generous welcome offers, including a no wagering bonus, deposit and start playing thousands of games straight away,” Grönlund added.

“Our rewards are legendary, and our customer support is second to none – what more could you want from an online casino?

“The UK market is highly competitive, but our Finnish Sisu sets us apart and this, combined with our stand-out brand and superior product and player experience, is a winning formula and we look forward to welcoming UK players to Winlandia for the first time.”
