Gaming Corps to enter UK Market

February 23, 2024 | Sarah Blackburn

Gaming Corps, a slot developer based in Uppsala, Sweden, is all set to enter the British market after obtaining the necessary licence from the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC).

The company should soon start bringing its entire range of games to the UK through collaborations with various operators, including casinos described as “tier-one partners.” This expansion should further boost Gaming Corps’ standing in the industry, especially after it managed to obtain licences in Sweden, Greece, and Malta, as well certifications in Gibraltar, the Netherlands, Greece, Estonia, Croatia, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Bulgaria, and Latvia.

The Gaming Corps offering

Gaming Corps’ game portfolio consists of a wide variety of titles. These include not only slots, but also crash games, mine games, table games, and even a certified version of Plinko. Some of the company’s recent hits are Wild Woof, Raging Zeus Mines, Lobster Hotpot, and Piggy Smash, while popular game series such as Jet Lucky and Coin Miner should also make an appearance in UK casinos.

“This is a hugely momentous advancement for Gaming Corps, and we are extremely excited to enter one of the largest regulated online gaming markets in the world,” Gaming Corps CEO Juha Kauppinen says. “We want to make the most of this fantastic opportunity and I very much look forward to offering our first-class gaming experiences to players in the UK.””

The UK remains Europe’s biggest gaming market, with 2023 turnover expected to be worth over £14.3 billion and around 24.7 million active online players.
